Yahoo Board to ‘Review’ Discrepancy in CEO’s Resume - besterappause1966

Yahoo aforementioned deep Thursday that its board will review a discrepancy in the resume of its CEO, Scott Homer Armstrong Thompso, and "puddle an appropriate disclosure" to its shareholders.

Thompson's resume and the company's regulatory filings overdone his engineering downpla to include a degree in computing. The company said information technology was the result of "an inadvertent error."

Activist shareholder Book of the Prophet Daniel Loeb, World Health Organization leads Third Point investment funds fund, wrote Thursday to the SEC, charging that Thompson's summarize had been embellished.

Loeb is campaigning to have Yahoo appoint candidates he has proposed, including himself, to its directorate, a move opposed by Thompson, who has his possess candidates.

Thompson received a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a star in accounting from Stonehill College, and there was an inadvertent mistake that stated that he also holds a degree in computer science, Yahoo said earlier on Thursday.

"This in No way alters that fact that Mister. Thompson is a highly qualified executive with a successful record leading large consumer technology companies," the fellowship added.

It followed up with a statement later in the evening that Yahoo's board bequeath be "reviewing this matter, and upon completion of its review, will make an grade-appropriate revelation to shareholders." The company did not provide a clock time-frame for the review.
